The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, called on German companies to implement projects in Iraq.
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Ghazi received the German ambassador to Iraq, Martin Jaegar, on the occasion of assuming his work duties," noting that "the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, during the meeting, praised the bilateral relations and common interests that bind Iraq and German, it has a positive impact on all levels, especially in economic aspects, as well as Germany's greater role in restoring stability in the liberated areas."
The statement added, "Al-Ghazi called on German investment companies to implement projects in Iraq," stressing that "Iraq possesses the elements of investment and a rich and attractive environment, in addition to the existence of economic and human capabilities, and supportive government facilities."
In turn, the German ambassador pointed out that "Iraq is a basic and very important partner for Germany in all fields," and that it possesses economic and commercial capabilities that qualifies it to form partnerships in various sectors.
