The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned today, Sunday, the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad, while handing him a protest note against the attack that targeted Erbil.
The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a brief statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad and informed him of the Iraqi government's expostulate against the attack of targeting Erbil with missiles."
