The Federal Integrity Commission announced Thursday,the issuance of a summons order against the former governor of Dhi Qar; for violations in the project of designing and implementing a bridge in the governorate.
The Commission's Investigation Department said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Nasiriyah Investigation Court, which is specialized in looking into integrity issues, issued a summons order against the former governor of Dhi Qar, for violations in the project of the designing and implementing Hadarat Bridge in the province."
And the department continued, "The summons order was issued, based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code and according to the notes and results of the contract audit that are proven in the report of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau," pointing out that "the project transferred to a foreign company is estimated at (31,999,000,000) dinars. "
