Iraq recovers 6 ancient artifacts from Switzerland

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Thursday, that Iraq has recovered 6 antiquities from Switzerland.

Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "today, Iraq received 6 artifacts from Switzerland.".

He added, "This came as part of the Iraqi diplomacy's efforts to recover the smuggled antiquities."

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi urged earlier to continue recovering Iraqi antiquities through diplomatic coordination with countries.
