BOC: 41 suspects arrested for possessing weapons and narcotics

Baghdad Operations Command announced the arrest of 41 people accused of possessing weapons and narcotics in different areas of Baghdad capital.

The leadership stated, in a statement to the Security Media Cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "to enhance security and stability in all areas of the capital, Baghdad, and in implementation of the directives of Lieutenant-General, Operations Commander, the joint detachments were able to lead operations through the intensive efforts of their deployed detachments at surprising and untimely places and times. It was fixed on both sides of Karkh and Rusafah, during (last week) the arrest of (25) accused of possessing unlicensed weapons and ammunition, while it arrested (16) accused of possessing and trading narcotic substances, along with the seizure of an unlicensed drone.
