Security Council holds emergency meeting on Ukraine

The Security Council voted in an emergency session today, Sunday, on a draft resolution calling for an extraordinary emergency session of the United Nations General Assembly, on the situation in Ukraine.
And the Norwegian mission to the United Nations announced, on Sunday, that it had requested an emergency session of the UN Security Council on the current situation in Ukraine.
The UN mission said in a tweet on its Twitter account that Norway and 5 other countries had requested that the proposed session be held tomorrow, Monday.
The six countries besides Norway are the United States, Britain, France, Albania and Ireland.
