Baghdad International Fair will host the activities of the tenth session of the Security, Defense and Military Industries Exhibition for the period from 2 to 5 March.
The director of the company organizing the exhibition, Falah Al-Shammari, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the tenth session of the exhibition will be held under the sponsored by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and with the support of the Ministries of Defense and Interior," noting that "the session will witness the participation of more than 68 international and local companies and 13 countries."
Al-Shammari added, "The exhibition will include displaying the products of various weapons and light, medium and even heavy equipment," explaining that "it is the most important military and security event to support our armed forces and security services."
He pointed out that "the new session of the exhibition comes to transfer modern and advanced technology to the security services and military forces in light of the great international interest in the Security, Defense and Military Industries Exhibition, as it is one of the specialized and important exhibitions that are held in Iraq."
"The exhibition will provide an important opportunity to inform the participating countries and companies of the capabilities of the Iraqi military industries, with the possibility of concluding new contracts to develop the military industry and support the military and security capabilities of our armed forces," he added.
