Russia closed its airspace today, Saturday, to flights from 3 countries.
The Federal Agency for Air Transport in Russia announced that it had begun imposing a ban on Polish, Bulgarian and Czech companies flying in Russian airspace as a response measure.

Meanwhile, the transport ministers of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania decided to close their countries' airspace to Russian planes.

These developments come with the continuation of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, which European countries and other NATO organizations announced their rejection of, accusing Moscow of launching an unjustified operation that violates international law.
