Zelensky: The Russian forces took control over a military airport in Kiev

    The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Russian forces have taken control of a military airport near the capital, Kiev .


    Press sources indicated that the Russian and Ukrainian forces are engaged in fierce battles in the eastern city of Kharkiv, with the advance of the first continuing.

    On Thursday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to carry out a special military operation in Ukraine.
