Interior Minister issues a directive regarding the Directorate of Family and Child Protection

Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi directed that the departments and divisions of the Directorate of Family and Child Protection must be exclusively women's. 

Al-Ghanimi stressed that "female elements are able to deal with cases that reach this directorate, because most of the cases that are received are from families," stressing "the fairness of women, giving them their natural entitlement, and trusting in their work in our democratic country." 

He stressed, "The Ministry of the Interior has large numbers of women elements with high professional and competencies, which are referred to as eminence, and they are able to assume responsibility."
