Security operation launched east of Baiji

The Popular Mobilization Authority (PMPA) announced Tuesday the launch of a security operation east of Baiji.
"A force from the army and the popular mobilization carried out a large-scale search east of Baiji district in Salah al-Din province, to secure areas adjacent to the Tigris River east of Baiji district after monitoring movements of ISIS elements in those areas," PMA said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The operation involved a force of the army, the brigades (31-51) and a force from the Salah al-Din Operations Command," PMA said.
