National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji stressed today, Sunday that countries should extradite their terrorist nationals who are in prisons.
And the media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement that "Al-Araji received in his office the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, Michael Anker."
The statement added, "The meeting reviewed the work of the NATO mission in Iraq, especially in the field of training Iraqi forces, in addition to discussing the file of the al-Hol border camp."
Al-Araji stressed to the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq that "the safest way is for countries to receive their nationals who are in prisons, who are leaders of Daesh terrorist, and in the event that they are not received by their countries, the international bodies must transfer them to another place, because they pose a real threat."
Al-Araji indicated that "the Syrian Democratic Forces are not capable to deal with such dangerous terrorists, and that the international community's insistence on keeping them raise doubts," noting that: "There are those who think that there is a scenario coming to re-Daesh."
For his part, the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq confirmed that he will convey to NATO Iraq's legitimate concern about the presence of dangerous terrorists in the al-Hol camp.
