Rasool: Targeting the terrorist cell in Al-Adheem is a strong message from the armed forces

The spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, confirmed on Saturday, that targeting the terrorist cell responsible for Hawi al-Adheem incident in Diyala was carried out according to accurate intelligence information, while indicating that it is a strong message from the armed forces that they are ready to protect the Iraqis.

"Accurate intelligence information, during which the cowardly terrorist cell responsible for the Al-Adheem incident in Diyala was followed up, after which 9 terrorists were killed by air strikes by Iraqi F-16 planes," Major General Rasool told Al-Iraqiya News TV, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), noting that "the targeting process was a strong message from the Iraqi armed forces and army that they are fully prepared to protect Iraqis and pursue terrorists,”

He added, "The security forces will have other rounds and arrivals to destroy the remnants of the terrorists,”

Earlier, the Security Media Cell announced the killing of the terrorist cell responsible for the Al-Adheem incident in Diyala Governorate, with three air strikes by Iraqi F-16 aircraft.
