Al-Halbousi: BGD targeting represents a direct state sovereignty attack 

Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi confirmed that targeting Baghdad International Airport represents a direct attack on the sovereignty of the state. 

Al-Halbousi said, in a tweet to him on the Twitter platform, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the targeting of Baghdad International Airport represents a direct targeting of the sovereignty of the state and its facilities, and constitutes a threat to Iraq's reputation." 

He added, "There must be serious work to stop these terrorist attempts."
