The Republic of Egypt and The Jordanian kingdom condemned today, Friday, the terrorist attack in Diyala Governorate.
A statement by the Republic of Egypt, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that it "condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attack that took place at dawn today in the Iraqi Diyala Governorate, and resulted in the martyrdom of a number of members of the Iraqi armed forces.".
The statement added, "Egypt extends its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the brotherly Iraq, government and people, and to the families of the innocent victims of this tragic accident. brotherly Iraq to eradicate the remnants of terrorism and its supporters, and to transcend these cowardly terrorist acts.”.
For its part, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Diyala Governorate, eastern Iraq, today, Friday, and resulted in a number of martyrs.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Haitham Abu Al-Foul, confirmed, in a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "the kingdom's strong condemnation and denunciation of this cowardly terrorist act," stressing "the kingdom's absolute solidarity and standing by the brotherly Republic of Iraq in the face of all that threatens its security and the security of its people.".
