The crude price continued with its uptrend to close near $89 per barrel amid possible supply disruption following the latest in the Middle East.
Oil prices approached then $90 mark for the first time in four years, after Brent crude exceeded and other crudes crossed $89.60 a barrel.
According to the International Oil Prices website, the price of Brent crude reached $89.12 a barrel this evening, while Kuwaiti crude recorded $89.43 and the Nigerian crude recorded $89.62.
