Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi said Wednesday that the airport crime would remain a lifelong history, while noting that the martyrdom of the leaders of victory would be an example of freedom for all peoples.
"It is a matter of pride and pleasure today to commemorate the second anniversary of the comrades of faith and weapons who, with their blood, have defended the land of Mesopotamia with a bravery that remains a characteristic of history for life," al-Kadhimi said in a speech delivered by Interior Minister Osman al-Ghanimi during the official ceremony of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of victory leaders Hajj Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Iraqi guest Haj Qasim Soleimani and their companions, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA)
"We have lived through very difficult days and moments, we used to inspire the values, principles and spirit of martyrs from Hajj Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and The Guest of Iraq Haj Qassim Soleimani," he said, adding that "their martyrdom will remain an example of freedom for all peoples looking for freedom and peace."
