Karbala police arrested a drug-trafficking gang

Karbala Police Command announced the arrest of a drug-trafficking gang of six people, during a tactical operation.
The leadership stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the detachments of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs Department in the Karbala Police were able to arrest a gang of six people with the main financier during a tactical operation."
The statement added, "The operation was carried out after collecting information about the whereabouts of the gang," noting that "the detachments of the department were able, with high professionalism, to seize the gang members and seize narcotic substances, crystal type, and narcotic pills, type zero one, with a pistol with an electronic scale and drug materials in their possession."
