KRG allocates one billion dinars to face the repercussions of torrential rains in the region

The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, announced today, Saturday, allocating one billion dinars to face the repercussions of the torrential rains that swept the region yesterday.
 
A statement by Rwanga Foundation, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that " The Kurdistan Regional President, Mr. Nechirvan Barzani dedicated 1 Billion Iraqi dinars as emergency support to the vulnerable families affected by the flood in Erbil.," noting that "these funds will be allocated to those affected by the torrential rains to secure the necessary furniture inside the house, food and aid for families whose property and homes were damaged".
 
The statement also added that" The mentioned support will start as of December 18, 2021, and continue until the families will return to their homes. It is worth mentioning that the process of support will be cared out in coordination with the Erbil governorate and Barzani Charity Foundation".
