The Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed on Wednesday that the vaccine is available to all target groups, while setting a condition for renewing contracts with vaccine producers.
"The Iraqi government has contracted enough doses for all target groups of the Iraqi people," ministry spokesman Saif al-Badr told The Iraqi News Agency, adding that "Doses continue to arrive at the end of this year and early next year”.
"The ministry is continuing to renew the contract with vaccine-producing companies, if additional doses are needed, contracting will be done directly, and we are continuing this policy," he said.
"The Iraqi government and the Ministry of Health have provided the vaccine to all those covered, whether it is the first, second or third doses," al-Badr said.
