A security operation launched from 6 axes in Hamreen Mountains

A security operation was launched today, Sunday, from 6 axes in the Hamreen mountain range in Diyala.

"A force from the Diyala Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization and Diyala operations command in the Iraqi army carried out a large-scale security operation launched this morning to hunt down the enemy in the Hamreen mountain range in the area between Baghdad Road, Kirkuk and The Village of Taba Ain Leila," Diyala operations commander Talib al-Musawi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"The axes were divided between the popular mobilization and the army, that the axes of the mobilization were led by brigades leading the popular mobilization operations in Diyala," al-Musawi said.

"The operation was carried out on the basis of intelligence by monitoring cameras and daily observations," he said.
