Security media cell revealed on Tuesday the toll and nature of the terrorist bombing in Basra province.
"Preliminary information indicated that a motorcycle explosion occurred at al-Samoud junction in Basra province, which, according to the preliminary statistics of the Basra Health Directorate, killed four citizens and injured four others, as a result of the burning of two vehicles near the motorcycle," the cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"Forensic experts and competent technical teams are still at the scene to determine the nature of the bombing and give more details about it," the cell said.
"Broader details will be announced after investigations and technical reports are completed," the cell said.
