The Security Media Cell announced today, Monday, securing the village of Lahiban, while it denied burning the houses by the terrorist members.
SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The joint security forces are working to return the residents of the village of Lahiban of Serklan district, north of the Kirkuk province, which was threatened by ISIS terrorist gangs," noting that "the necessary protection has been provided for the area by the forces of the 14th Division of the Iraqi army, and a force from Peshmerga".
SMC denied "what was circulated by some media outlets and social media sites about burning number of citizens' homes in this village by the terrorist’s members."
