convoy transporting security forces' equipment was hit by an explosive device in Diwaniyah, the security media cell said Sunday.
"Convoy carrying equipment for Iraqi security forces by Iraqi transport companies and Iraqi drivers was hit by an explosive device in Diwaniyah province," the cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The explosion caused damage to one of the vehicle of the convoy and its cargo without casualties," the statement said, adding that "the convoy continued to move towards its intended destination."
