Today, Sunday, the Security Media Cell announced that an explosive device had exploded on the convoy of transporting international coalition equipment in Dhi Qar.
A cell statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, "A convoy was transporting the international coalition equipment that was withdrawn from Iraq by Iraqi transport companies and Iraqi citizens' wheel drivers, and was exposed to an explosive device explosion in Al-Batha district in Dhi Qar governorate."
He added, "The explosion caused damage to one of the wheels of the convoy," noting that "the convoy continued to move towards its intended destination."
