Ministry of Migration and Displaced announced on Wednesday, the distribution of 20 liters of oil to each displaced family in the camps.
“The camps have been established for seven years, and the ministry is committed, within the available capabilities, to reassessing the situation of the tents every year in terms of their extinction, consumption and replacement,” said a spokesman for the Ministry of Immigration, Ali Abbas, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Abbas added that “the ministry began changing some tents in Sulaymaniyah, in addition to distributing up to 20 liters of oil in addition to heaters and blankets," noting that "the ministry does this every year,”
“In a regard to the upcoming winter season, the families adjusted their situation with these materials and supplies as the ministry is ready for any situation that requires intervention,” he included.
