National Olympic Committee signs cooperation agreement with Turkish counterpart

Iraqi National Olympic Committee President Raad Hammoudi has signed a joint sports cooperation agreement with his Turkish counterpart Igor Ardenir, which they had agreed to detail in advance.
 
"The terms of the agreement are aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries in order to serve the sports movement and support the Olympic effort between them," said a statement from the National Olympic Committee received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Wednesday.
 
"The agreement confirmed that the two committees continue to support play, clean sports competition, anti-doping and all kinds of racial discrimination in their countries together, and also at the international level, in addition to developing sports exchanges between them and their national sports federations through bilateral training camps and exchanging training, arbitration and administrative experiences," the statement said.
