The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, considered the terrorist incident in Dayala a despicable attempt to destabilize the country.

Saleh said in a tweet to him on Twitter, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Tuesday, that "the cowardly terrorist incident against our people in Dayala is a despicable attempt to destabilize the country, and it is a reminder of the need to unite ranks, support our security services, close loopholes and not underestimate the threat of Daesh and the importance of continuing the national effort to end its remnants in all the region."

And he added: "Mercy and eternity to our righteous martyrs, and a get well soon to our wounded.
