The Ministry of Migration and Displacement set, today, Friday, a number of conditions to end the file of the displaced, while confirming that the government is determined to resolve the file.

The director of the branches in the ministry, Ali Abbas, explained in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the file of the displaced is complex, and a specific date for its end cannot be set," noting that "there are issues in this file that are outside the control of the ministry, as they are linked to security and social authorities." .

Abbas affirmed, "The ministry will continue its plans to resolve the file of the displaced," noting that "the ministry held a meeting yesterday with the undersecretaries of ministries and governors, with the aim of accelerating the process of implementing projects in the liberated areas, especially in areas where the return of the displaced is not currently possible, such as the areas of Sinjar and the surrounding villages." In addition to the governorates of Diyala, Kirkuk and Salah al-Din.
He added, "The ministry's plan depends on implementing the government program before the end of the current year, and that the remaining time of this year will provide an opportunity to finish the remaining camps," noting that "the Kurdistan region's camps are linked to the security and service situation.".

Abbas expressed his belief that "the file of the displaced will end because of the government's insistence on this."
