Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed that Scopus containers indicated the rise of Iraqi scientific research to more than 79,000 research published globally.
“The Iraqi universities' research index published in Scopus' containers has risen to more than 79,000 research,” said ministry in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Scopas tanks documented the leadership of the University of Baghdad, which achieved the publication of 16,276 scientific research at the level of public universities, while the University's Future College achieved the publication of 418 research at the level of private universities.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Nabil Abdel Sahib, indicated, according to the statement, "the importance of global publishing, upgrading the Iraqi fields, and enhancing presence in global fields," stressing "the necessity of securing international partnership in the fields of scientific research and employing it in the direction of comprehensive development,”
