Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Yarallah discussed on Saturday security plans with Samarra Operations Command to succeed the visit of Imam Hassan al-Askari( peace be upon him) martyrdom.
"Yarallah arrived in Samarra and met upon his arrival with the leaders of the security services and the Samarra Operations Command to discuss plans for ways to succed the visit of Imam Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him) martyrdom," an Iraqi news agency reporter said.
The city of Samarra received millions of visitors to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him) amid security, health and service measures.
