General Secretariat of Al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine counted, today, Tuesday, the numbers of visitors to Arbaeen anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), indicating that these numbers entered from the main entrances to the province.
The secretariat added, "The city of Karbala, as it has been for more than 13 centuries, was honored by the guests and visitors of the lord of martyrs, Imam Hussein and his brother Aba al-Fadhl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in Arbaeen visit of this year 1442 AH. Serving the holy shrines was a great honor by receiving and providing various services to the honorable visitors," noting that "These services included many medical, service and mourning activities, including the service of recording the number of visitors in the electronic counting system for those coming from the main entrances to the holy city of Karbala by the Communications department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and for the sixth year in a row,
The secretariat confirmed that "the number of visitors that the holy city of Karbala received from the 7th of Safar al-Khair until 12:00 noon on the 30th of Safar al-Khair, according to the electronic counting system, amounted to about (16,327,542) visitors."
And stated that "the visitors entered the province from five main entrances: (Baghdad - Karbala, Najaf - Karbala, Babil - Karbala, and Husseiniya - Karbala (with two ways)."
