Supreme Security Committee for Elections announced that there is no curfew on Sunday, while noting that all security units are ready to secure the electoral process.
”The preparations for the security regard were discussed with the Independent High Electoral Commission,” said the Head of the committee, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, in a press conference attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added that "all the security units are ready to secure the electoral process in the country, noting that" there is no curfew tomorrow,”
Al-Shammari pointed out that "decisions were taken to facilitate the voting process tomorrow," explaining that "the security units completed all procedures and we sent additional units to some provinces,”
