Electoral Commission is to select counting stations of special voting

The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) held on Friday, a draw for the selection of counting stations and manual counting of special voting in Baghdad province.

"The aim of the draw for the selection of counting stations and manual counting of the special vote is to emphasize the accuracy of the election results and data electronically," IHEC said at a press conference attended by an Iraqi News Agency (INA) reporter.

"A central technical committee has been formed to conduct the central draw of counting and manual counting," the commission said.

"We will conduct 12 draws to select counting and manual counting stations during the special voting day," the commission added.
