12 wanted arrested in Basra

Basra Operations Command announced on Thursday, the arrest of 12 wanted and the confiscation of various weapons in the province
 
 “the 36th Automated Brigade, the Brigade of Operations Command Commandos and Basra Provincial Police Emergency Regiments, have begun a new phase in search operations for wanted people and the confiscation of unlicensed weapons, as they have arrested 12 people, one of whom is wanted in accordance with 406 criminal penal code and who has turned himself in to security forces in Basra," the command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"The force carrying out the duty was also able to confiscate a 3 BKC machine gun and 9 Kalashnikov rifles, as well as one pistol, and other light weapons within the northern and southern areas of Basra province," it said.
