Demonstrations demands launching water quota in Maysan

People of Maysan province organized today, Sunday, demonstrations near Al-Kahla Regulator to demand the launch of the water quota.
Our reporter said that, "The people of the district of Al-Kahla, Bani Hashem, Al-Ma'il, Al-Adl, Al-Adeel, Umm Na'aj and Abu Khassaf districts organized a demonstration near Nazim Al-Kahla in Maysan to demand the launch of the decided water quota after their agricultural lands, livestock and fisheries were exposed to drought."
"The demonstrators closed al-Nadhim Bridge in the center of Amara city and started opening the water gates towards their areas," he said.
