Olympic team accelerates preparations before participating in West Asian Championship

our Olympic team will participate Today, Sunday in the last training unit before entering the West Asian Football Championship (under 23 years), which is hosted by the Saudi city of Dammam.
 
Our team will start its first match in the competition by meeting its Palestinian counterpart, tomorrow, Monday, at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium.
 
The technical staff, led by the Czech coach, Miroslav Sokop, seeks to involve most of its elements, in order to create a factor of harmony between the players, and to reach the technical and physical readiness, as well as the legitimate ambition to compete for the title, as well as to make the best use of this participation before entering the qualifications for the World Cup finals for players under 23 years old.
 
The coach chose in his official list 23 players, they are: Nadim Nader (Falkenbury of Sweden ), Hassan Ahmed (Al-Talaba), Imad Issa (Zakho), Ahmed Hassan Makkenzi, Muntazer Muhammad Jabr, Ahmed Sarteeb (Al-Zawra), Zaid Tahseen, Wakea Ramadan (Al-Talaba), Muntazer Abdel-Amir and Hassan Raed (Al Qiwa Al Jawia), Ammar Ghaleb and Sadeq Zamel (Al Shurta), Abbas Yas (Al Minaa), Mustafa Walid, Hassan Abdul Karim (Karkh), Ali Mohsen (Al Naft), Abbas Badi’ and Nihad Muhammad ( Naft Maysan), Muhammad Al-Baqer Karim (Diwaniyah), and Maamel Abdul Redha And Reda Fadel (Amanat Baghdad), Hussein Ammar (Naft Al Basra) and Zidan Iqbal (Manchester United, England U-23).

Our team plays in the second group, which includes Lebanon, Palestine and the UAE, while the first group includes Jordan, Yemen, Oman and Kuwait, and the third group consisted of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Syria.
