PM: Sayyed Sistani statement has messages of humanity and patriotism

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi commented on the statement of the supreme religious authority - Marja’, Sayyed Ali Sistani, on the elections, while affirming the commitment of state institutions to protect the electoral process.

“We received with great responsibility the statement of His Eminence the Supreme Religious Authority- Marja’, Sayyed Ali Sistani (may his shadow last), regarding the elections with high patriotic and humanitarian implications," said Al-Kadhimi said in a tweet on his official Twitter account.

Al-Kadhimi affirmed the commitment of state institutions to protect the electoral process, and called on candidates to abide by the law and regulations, as voters to participate broadly and choose well.
