KRG: Schools are 3-days off during the parliamentary elections

    Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Region - KRG announced that schools will be closed for a period of 3 days during the parliamentary elections.

    “The schools will be handed over to the Electoral Commission a day before the elections and the day of voting and another day after the end of the elections for arranging and equipping schools to start working hours,” stated the ministry in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), on Monday.

    The Parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place on October, 10th.
