PMF foil attempts of Daesh infiltration in Tarmiyah

Popular Mobilization Forces Authority - PMF announced upon foiling the infiltration of Daesh terrorist remnants in Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad.

“A joint force from Tarmiyah Regiment and the 12th Brigade of PMF managed to kill one of the terrorist remnants of Daesh within Baghdad Operations sector, north of Baghdad,” according to PMF media office in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Monday.

The statement included that "this came during foiling of an attempt to infiltrate Daesh terrorist remnants in the Tal Tasa area, Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad. The tracking process is still ongoing to pursue remnants of Daesh,”
