INA - Baghdad The Prime Minister’s Press Office’s Spokesman Saad al-Hadithi confirmed on Wednesday that PM Haider Abadi forwarded all the concerned authorities to solve the water pollution crisis in Basra as soon as possible. “PM ordered the military operations commands in the southern governorates to follow up the encroachments occurring on the current rivers to Basra after obligating the Ministry of Water Resources to send water shares sufficient to local consumption,” Hadithi stated to INA.
