Iraq participates in World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Vienna

First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Al-Kaabi, headed the delegation of the Iraqi Parliament participating in the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Vienna.
 
"The delegation of the Iraqi Parliament, headed by Al-Kaabi and the membership of MPs, Ala Talabani and Adnan Al-Zurfi, arrived in the capital, Vienna, on Monday, to participate in the Fifth International Conference of Parliament Speakers in cooperation with the Austrian Parliament, the International Parliament Union and the International Parliament Organization United nations,” according to a statement by the media department of the Council, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The conference will discuss several important files, including sustainable development and combating terrorism, as well as confronting Corona pandemic and its global repercussions, in addition to combating misinformation and hate speech on the Internet.
 
The head of the delegation, Al-Kaabi, will “deliver a speech at the conference on the Iraqi parliament, in addition to holding side meetings with the heads of many Arab, regional and international parliaments to discuss issues and mutual relations,"
