According to the British newspaper, “The Sun”, phones running Android 4.0.4 and earlier will no longer be compatible with the requirements of “WhatsApp”, which also applies to devices running iOS 9 and other devices preceded him.

The list of phones includes: Samsung with “Galaxy S3 mini”, “Trend II”, “Trend Lite”, “Core” and “Ace 2” versions.
As for LG phones.

WhatsApp will not work on Sony Xperia, as well as Huawei Ascend Mate and Ascend D2.
Finally, iPhones of the "SE", "6s" and "6s Plus" models will not be able to run the application as well.

Also WhatsApp recently launched a new service that will help people who change their phones from time to time.

Noteworthy, the technical news site "The Verge" stated that users will be able to transfer conversation logs, including voice messages, photos and videos, when they change their phones from iOS to Android.

In the first phase, which will take place in the coming weeks, this service will cover the transfer of records from the “iOS” phones to the new “Samsung” phones, “Ze Flip 3” and “Ze Fold 3”.

The service addresses a frustrating aspect of WhatsApp, as in the past it was not possible to transfer conversation records between different phones in the operating system.

Usually, users stored the backup in the “iCloud” program for the “iOS” system, while users of “Samsung” phones, for example, stored the backup in the “Google Drive” program for “Android” devices.
