5.8-earthquake strikes off coast of Chile

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 was registered off the coast of Chile, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said on Wednesday.
 
The quake was registered 95 kilometers west of the city of Copiapo in northern Chile at a depth of 17.4 kilometers.
 
There were no reports of potential damage or casualties.
