The head of the National Security Service, Abdel-Ghani Al-Asadi, orderd the forces of the NSS to exert great efforts during Arbaʽeen pilgrimage.
Al-Asadi said, according to a video clip seen by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "What is required from the NSS during the holy Arbaʽeen pilgrimage, which is witnessing a great momentum in the number of visitors, is to control and protect them, noting that the National Security Service succeeded in controlling the situation during Ashura ceremonies, adding that what is required this stage is to redouble efforts to thwart the attempts of those who try to tamper the security of the citizen.
Al-Asadi stressed "the need not to neglect any information, whatever it is, to follow it up, and to work calmly, with a clear vision and a broad thought."
