SMC: 4 ISIS hideouts found in Tarmiyah

The Security Media Cell announced on Thursday, that 4 hideouts of ISIS terrorist gangs had been found during the purging operations in Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad.

SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "within the security operation launched by the Joint Operations Command, the heroes from the Special Missions Brigade, the Federal Police Forces Command, achieved essential security results in Tarmiyah district.

The statement added, "The security outcome of the operation resulted in the discovery of 4 terrorists' hideouts that were detonated, 3 trenches, various arms and ammunitions, affirming that the federal police units continue their intensive security deployment, for the purpose of achieving the goals set according to the prepared plans, with the aim of tightening full control over the area and purging it of terrorist members.
