Maysan Police arrested a child's killer as a result of random gun fire

The police of Maysan province arrested, on Sunday, the killer of a child by random gun fire in Al-Maimuna district, southwest of the province.

A statement issued by Maysan Police Directorate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that the detachments of Al-Maimuna district Police Dept. and the Fifth Emergency Regiment of Maysan, arrested an accused of killing a 13-year-old child due to a quarrel and gun fire in al- Salam area of the aforementioned district.

The statement added that the quarrel took place on 12^th Aug.2021 between two tribes using weapons, leading to the killing of a child and the injury of another one, as the police forces managed to arrest the accused in accordance with the provisions of Article ((406) premeditated murder).
