Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Japro, announced today, Thursday, the allocation of 40 billion dinars to end the clan chapters for the displaced in Salah al-Din Governorate, while good news was given to all the displaced regarding the one million five hundred thousand dinars grant.
Japro told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "an inspection visit was conducted to Salah al-Din, as directed by Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, to follow up on the needs of the displaced."
She added, "A great achievement was achieved in Salah al-Din Governorate by closing the camps, following up on the returnees, providing all their needs and creating the appropriate environment for them," noting that "the ministry worked on a plan with the local government in Salah al-Din for the return of the displaced people in the Sulaymaniyah camp, due to the presence of the return desire of many families ."
Japro also revealed that "there are some simple clan problems that hinder the return of the displaced," noting that "there will be a visit by the Governor of Salah al-Din to the Sunni Endowment Office in this regard, in addition to providing 40 billion dinars for clan chapters.".
With regard to the grant for the displaced, amounting to one million and five hundred thousand dinars, the Minister of Migration and Displacement confirmed, that "it will be distributed during the next few days."
