Large fires in AL-Karrada and Ghazaliya areas of Baghdad

A large fire broke out, on Sunday morning, inside a store of electrical appliances in A-Karrada area in central Baghdad.
The Directorate of Civil Defense stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that a big fire broke out inside a store for electrical appliances in the A-Karrada area, in Baghdad.
The statement added that more than 20 firefighting teams participated to control and put out the fire, affirming that no human losses have been recorded ,but the fire caused the losses in the materials in the store.
 
Meanwhile, the Civil Defense Directorate also announced the outbreak of a large fire inside 4 private electric generators with large quantities of gas fuel in Ghazaliya area, west of the capital.
 
As the Directorate mentioned that 10 firefighting teams were headed towards the area to control the fire and prevent its spread to the residential homes.
