The Popular Mobilization Authority announced, today, Thursday, that it thwarted a large-scale attack carried out by ISIS terrorist gangs in western Anbar, through the mediation of 11 armed vehicles.
The Popular Mobilization Authority stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the crowd forces in Al-Rutba district, last night, responded to an attack carried out by ISIS terrorist gangs, after monitoring them, 11 vehicles belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs through thermal cameras."
The statement added, "A force from the crowd attacked the terrorist gangs with mortars and heavy weapons, and during that time forced the terrorists to flee, and thwarted their terrorist scheme."
